Qualifications
Pursuant to Section 39A (1)(b) of the Political Parties Act, No.11 of 2011, a person to be appointed as an Adhoc Member of the Political Parties Disputes Tribunal- Non- Advocate must possess the following qualifications.
- Hold a Bachelor of degree in any of the following disciplines governance, administrative, social, political, economic from a recognized university or equivalent qualifications.
- Demonstrate proven experience and a strong track record in governance, administration, and social, political, or economic affairs
- Must not be a public officer or holds office in a political party
- Qualification and experience in alternative dispute resolution will be an added advantage.
- Meet the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution on leadership and integrity.
