Accounts Assistant Job Rio Fish

Accounting Jobs, Rio Fish Jobs. Responsible for recording financial transactions, processing invoices, maintaining financial records, and supporting the preparation of financial reports. Requires a diploma or certificate in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with experience in bookkeeping, account reconciliation, and computerised accounting systems. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Nairobi.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate books of accounts and day-to-day bookkeeping
• Prepare bank, M-Pesa and supplier/customer reconciliations
• Process payments, invoices and receipts, and maintain proper records
• Support payroll, statutory filings (KRA, NSSF, SHIF, Housing Levy) and audits
• Assist in preparing monthly financial reports and donor/grant financial reporting

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA progress is an advantage)
• Relevant accounting experience; familiarity with accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks, Sage) is an advantage
• Good Excel skills, accuracy, integrity and strong organisational abilities
• Professionalism and the ability to meet deadlines
