Accounts Assistant Job Kongoni TVC Matunda, Kenya
Qualifications
- Diploma in Accounting or its equivalent from a recognized institution
- CPA Part I or in progress
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
- Computer literate
- Meet Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare payment vouchers and monitor payments to creditors
- Enter financial data and maintain accounting records
- Prepare imprest, journal vouchers, and petty cash
- Capture institution income and expenses accurately
- Prepare and issue invoices or fee statements for tuition, accommodation, and other charges
- Track unpaid student fees and follow up on overdue payments
- Reconcile student accounts and receivable balances with the general ledger
- Prepare reports on outstanding receivables, collections, and bad debts
