Accountant Job (60-70K)

Our client is a leading provider of commercial transport and mobility solutions in Kenya, specializing in the sale and distribution of trucks, trailers, tractors, tippers, motorcycles, and fleet management solutions. They are seeking to hire a highly motivated, detail-oriented, and experienced Accountant to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing management reports, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, and supporting the overall financial management of the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate accounting records and general ledger accounts.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
• Perform bank, supplier, and customer reconciliations.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
• Coordinate internal and external audits.
• Monitor compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and statutory requirements.
• Support management with financial analysis and decision-making.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA(K) qualification or equivalent professional certification.
• Minimum of 3 years’ relevant accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, tax regulations, and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
• High level of integrity and attention to detail.
