The Account Manager / Project Coordinator will serve as the strategic and operational bridge between Digital Tailor Agency Limited and its client. This role is critical in ensuring smooth delivery of high-impact digital marketing initiatives, strict compliance with contractual obligations, and seamless team coordination across campaign phases. The ideal candidate combines exceptional communication skills, sharp project oversight, and digital fluency, acting not just as a coordinator, but as a trusted partner to the client.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years in digital project management or account management, preferably in agency.
- Demonstrated experience leading multilingual, multi-platform digital marketing campaigns
- Familiarity with performance marketing platforms (Meta Ads, Google Ads, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.)
- Strong command of project management tools (e.g., Monday.com, Jira, MS Project)
- Excellent presentation, writing, and interpersonal skills
- Professional demeanor with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset
Responsibilities
Client Relationship & Communication
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the client — providing timely updates, ensuring clarity on objectives, and fostering long-term trust.
- Maintain daily availability during East Africa Time (EAT) business hours to attend virtual or in-person check-ins, respond to ad hoc issues, and support real-time decision-making.
- Host weekly and montly strategy and performance review calls, and prepare detailed meeting agendas and recaps.
Project Oversight & Team Coordination
- Translate client needs into internal task workflows, assigning actions across content, creative, advertising, and analytics leads.
- Develop, track, and update project timelines, campaign calendars, and milestone checklists using agile tools (e.g., Asana, Trello, Notion).
- Monitor output quality across all deliverables — from copy to visuals, analytics to ad spend reconciliation.
Compliance & Quality Assurance
- Ensure that all deliverables align with the client’s branding, technical specifications, and reporting standards.
- Track key contractual obligations, including language requirements, reporting deadlines, and geographic campaign diversity.
- Flag any risks or delays proactively and coordinate mitigation strategies before escalation is needed.
Billing & Budget Monitoring
- Oversee the coordination of ad platform payments in multiple currencies (USD, EUR, KES), including internal invoice approvals, receipts, and reporting.
- Liaise with the finance team to ensure timely and compliant financial flows related to campaign spending.
