Professor /Lecturer — Geography at Umma University
Faculty Positions (Lecturer to Professor) – Geography at Umma University Teaches courses, conducts research, and mentors students in Geography. Requires PhD in Geography, university teaching experience, publications appropriate to rank, and CUE alignment. Full-time.
Job Purpose
The Lecturer is responsible for delivering teaching and learning activities, conducting research, and contributing to academic program development within the Geography subject area. The position supports curriculum delivery, student supervision, and scholarly research activities, providing quality teaching and supporting student academic development.
Qualifications Academic Qualifications
- PhD in a closely related discipline from a recognized university.
OR
- A relevant Master’s degree registered for PhD to be considered
Professional Qualifications / Membership
- Membership in relevant professional and academic bodies is an added advantage.
Relevant Work Experience
- 3 years’ university teaching or research experience is an added advantage, with evidence of research publications or academic research potential.
