Stephen Weru had been looking for a job for about six months. Although he was not out of a job, he was looking for an opportunity that would enable him to use his expertise and grow while at it.

Tell us about yourself. What is your professional qualification? Your years of experience?

I am Stephen Weru Kang’eri and my background has been centered in preparing myself as an expert in Finance and Accounts areas. I am a holder of Bachelor’s degree in Economics & Statistics from Kenyatta University, CPA(K) and a Master of Science degree in Finance from the University of Nairobi. I have more than ten years in Finance, Accounting and banking. I am currently working as Head of Finance at Scope Markets- global online trading company where I oversee Finance and Accounts functions

How long have you been looking for a job? Reason.

I had been looking for a job for the last six months. I was looking for a job that utilizes my expertise and more challenging tasks that will enhance my career growth.

What has your job search experience been like?
