Waiter – Hospitality Job

Role Objective
Our client, a reputable hospitality establishment, is seeking a professional and customer-focused Waiter/Waitress to join their team. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering exceptional guest experiences through attentive service, product knowledge, and adherence to high hospitality standards.
Core Duties and Responsibilities
- Welcome guests warmly and respond promptly to their requests and inquiries.
- Accurately take and relay food and beverage orders to the kitchen and bar teams.
- Serve meals and drinks efficiently while ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, service stations, and equipment.
- Present menu options confidently and provide recommendations when required.
- Ensure tables are properly arranged and maintained throughout service.
- Coordinate effectively with other departments to facilitate smooth operations.
- Address guest concerns professionally and escalate issues where necessary.
- Promote menu specials and upsell products in a courteous manner.
- Prepare guest bills and process payments accurately.
- Assist with restaurant opening and closing procedures.
- Monitor order flow to ensure timely and correct service delivery.
- Gather and share customer feedback to support continuous service improvement.
- Undertake any other duties assigned by management.
Job Specifications and Qualifications
- Diploma in Hospitality management, Food and Beverage Service or a related field.
- At least 2 years similar experience in service in a busy high-end restaurant.
- Proficiency in hotel management software.
