Requirements

• Certification in Tiling, Construction Trades, or related field
• Minimum 5 years’ hands-on experience in tiling and experience in construction industry is an added advantage
• Experience in training, coaching, or mentoring is an added advantage
• Strong knowledge of tiling techniques, materials, tools, and finishing
• Solid understanding of health and safety standards in workshop environments
• Strong instructional, facilitation, and communication skills (English & Kiswahili)
• Ability to assess trainee performance and provide constructive feedback
• Good organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills
• High level of professionalism, accountability, and adaptability

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver practical and theoretical tiling training aligned to industry standards
• Monitor trainee progress, attendance, and performance
• Provide feedback, mentorship, and career support, including internship placement
• Ensure workshop safety, cleanliness, and proper handling of tools and materials
• Maintain training documentation and support continuous improvement initiatives
