Storekeeper Job Salona Hotel
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming food, beverage, and hotel supplies, verifying quantities and quality against delivery notes.
- Organize and store inventory systematically using standard storage principles (e.g., FIFO – First In, First Out).
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date digital or physical stock ledgers for all incoming and outgoing goods.
- Conduct regular stock takes and audits to identify shortfalls, damages, or expiring goods.
- Collaborate with the Chef and Supervisor to initiate purchase requisitions before stock runs low.
Key Requirements:
- Certificate or Diploma in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Storekeeping, or equivalent.
- Proven experience in inventory management, ideally within the hospitality or retail sector.
- Strong organizational skills, meticulous record-keeping abilities, and attention to detail.
- Basic computer skills, including experience with inventory tracking software or spreadsheets.
- Physical fitness required to handle, lift, and stack crates and heavy stock items.
