Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive incoming food, beverage, and hotel supplies, verifying quantities and quality against delivery notes.
  • Organize and store inventory systematically using standard storage principles (e.g., FIFO – First In, First Out).
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date digital or physical stock ledgers for all incoming and outgoing goods.
  • Conduct regular stock takes and audits to identify shortfalls, damages, or expiring goods.
  • Collaborate with the Chef and Supervisor to initiate purchase requisitions before stock runs low.

Key Requirements:

  • Certificate or Diploma in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Storekeeping, or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in inventory management, ideally within the hospitality or retail sector.
  • Strong organizational skills, meticulous record-keeping abilities, and attention to detail.
  • Basic computer skills, including experience with inventory tracking software or spreadsheets.
  • Physical fitness required to handle, lift, and stack crates and heavy stock items.
