Duties and responsibilities

Inventory Management Support

• Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records for teaching materials, office supplies, cleaning products, kitchen supplies, and equipment.
• Utilize and update the school’s inventory management system to accurately track stock movements.
• Assist in maintaining updated records of prices, stock levels, and supplier performance, particularly for kitchen and academic supplies.
• Support monitoring of issuance and return of school equipment and materials.
• Assist in organizing and maintaining storage areas to ensure safety, cleanliness, and accessibility

Procurement Management Support

• Assist in preparing and processing purchase requisitions and purchase orders in line with procurement procedures.
• Maintain and update the supplier database and records of pricing and supplier performance.
• Support evaluation of supplier quotations and ensure proper documentation of procurement processes.
• Assist in preparing and processing purchase requisitions and purchase orders in line with approved procurement procedures.
• Ensure procurement documentation is complete, accurate, and properly filed (both physical and electronic records).

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Purchasing and Supplies or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of Procurement through education or work experiences.
• At least 6 months of experience will be an added advantage.
• Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Self-starter and highly proactive individual who is able to accomplish tasks with minimal direction.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a customer service orientation.
