As Pizza Chef, you’ll work closely with our Head Chef and owners to refine recipes, uphold consistency, and lead the kitchen team in bringing warmth and excellence to every service.

Role Description

• Prepare and cook Neapolitan-style pizzas to the highest standard, ensuring consistency and quality in every pie
• Manage the dough-making process daily — fermentation, proofing, shaping — with care and precision
• Maintain and operate the wood-fired oven, controlling temperature and timing with confidence
• Collaborate on menu development, experimenting with toppings, ingredients, and seasonal specials
• Train and guide kitchen team members to uphold Peponi’s standards of quality and service
• Maintain kitchen organization, cleanliness, and food safety at all times
• Monitor inventory, manage prep lists, and coordinate with suppliers to ensure freshness and efficiency
• Bring passion, curiosity, and pride to your craft — setting the tone for a kitchen built on teamwork and respect

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Pizza Chef, Pizzaiolo, or similar role in a fast-paced restaurant
• Deep understanding of dough fermentation, ingredient balance, and wood-fired oven techniques
• A passion for simple, honest food made exceptionally well
• Strong attention to detail and consistency under pressure
• Leadership qualities and a collaborative spirit — you thrive in a team that shares ideas and energy
• Commitment to cleanliness, organization, and professional standards
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
