About the Role
Are you a sharp, fast-thinking professional looking to break into the world of Finance and Payroll? We are looking for a Junior Payroll Specialist who thrives in high-pressure environments. This role is perfect for someone who is obsessed with accuracy and loves delivering “white-glove” customer service to our diverse portfolio of clients.
You won’t just be “doing data entry”—you will be managing the entire payroll lifecycle, ensuring compliance with Kenyan tax laws (PAYE, NHIF, NSSF), and acting as a trusted advisor to our clients.

Your Responsibilities
- Full-Cycle Payroll: Schedule and manage multiple client payrolls from start to finish.
- Accuracy & Compliance: Process wage garnishments, child support orders, and tax levies accurately and on time.
- Reporting: Generate accurate quarter-end and year-end reports, including Ad Hoc client requests.
- Client Success: Resolve system inquiries and payroll questions via phone and email with a “follow-through” mindset.
- Workflow Mastery: Navigate various payroll environments to sync time, attendance, and reporting.
Who You Are (Requirements)
- Education: High School Diploma or GED (KCSE equivalent) required. A Diploma in Accounting or HR is a plus!
- Experience: 1+ years in a high-touch Customer Service role.
- Communication: Excellent command of English (written and verbal) with a strong, professional phone presence.
- Skills: Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Mindset: You take accountability seriously and aren’t afraid of complex problem-solving.
