Westlands Specialist Hospital is seeking a qualified and reliable Locum Pharmaceutical Technologist to support their pharmacy operations on a temporary basis.
Key Responsibilities
- Dispense medications accurately and efficiently.
- Review prescriptions for correctness and completeness.
- Provide basic patient counseling on medication use.
- Maintain proper drug storage and stock control.
- Ensure compliance with pharmacy and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Diploma in Pharmaceutical Technology.
- Registered with the Pharmacy and Poisons Board (PPB) with a valid license.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a hospital or busy pharmacy setup.
- Good attention to detail and ability to work under minimal supervision.
