Year of Return Africa (YORA), in collaboration with Krach Institute and Abana International Organization, is pleased to announce the launch of a 3-week Special Internship Program taking place in Kenya, in May and October 2026. This unique program, hosted by Year of Return Africa (YORA) Summit Expo 2026, is designed to empower recent graduates and prospective graduates with hands-on experience, industry insights, and transformative learning opportunities in their chosen fields.
This package is open to all candidates in Kenya, Africa and beyond, who have access to joining meetings virtually in the months of May and October. We kindly request you to inform your students of this opportunity by posting the attached flier where they can see it so that they can send in their applications.
About the Program
This immersive internship program offers masterclasses led by industry experts and thought leaders across a wide range of disciplines. Participants will have the opportunity to deepen their knowledge, develop practical skills, and network with professionals in their field.
Available Masterclasses
Applicants are invited to select one of the following masterclasses to focus on during the program:
- AI & Robotics
- Tech-Diplomacy
- Cyber Security
- Acting and Theatre
- Film and Documentary Production
- Financial Literacy and Investment (includes entrepreneurship)
- International Trade & Policy
Program Highlights
- Duration: 3 weeks.
- Dates: 4th to 22nd May and 5th to 23rd October 2026
- Locations: Hybrid – Nairobi / Kitale / Malindi, Kenya.
- Masterclass: Virtual access to the masterclasses for candidates not located in Kenya.
- Format: In-person and virtual masterclasses, workshops, and networking sessions.
- Eligibility: Recent graduates or prospective graduates in any field.
- Interview and onboarding period: April and September 2026.
- Application deadlines: 30th March for May session; 30th August for October session.
