Engineering Assistant (Electrical) Job HiHome

HiHome is looking for a proactive and hands-on Engineering Assistant to support our growing network of stores and facilities. This role is ideal for someone with strong electrical expertise and a passion for project coordination and on-site execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Support project execution to ensure new stores open on schedule
- Supervise on-site construction activities (progress, quality & safety)
- Interpret electrical and construction drawings
- Coordinate contractors and resolve on-site issues
- Monitor materials, tools and equipment usage
- Develop and track construction schedules
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and prevent risks
- Maintain proper documentation (reports, logs, inspections)
- Oversee refurbishment works across offices, warehouses, and stores
- Handle maintenance of electrical systems and small appliances
Qualifications & Experience
- Valid EPRA Electrical Worker’s License (Class B or above)
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field
- 1–2 years’ experience in electrical installation, maintenance & troubleshooting
- Experience in construction sites, factories, malls or office buildings is an added advantage
- Strong understanding of electrical safety standards
- Good communication, problem-solving and organizational skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
