Clinical Officer Job HealthX
Looking for an medical job in Kenya? HealthX is hiring a clinical officer to monitor patients and and provide clinical care. The role is based in Nairobi and experience in the management of non-communicable diseases is required.
Role Overview
They are seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Officer to join their busy health facility. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive medical care, with a strong focus on telehealth. This role requires a compassionate professional who is committed to excellence in patient care and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality clinical care to patients, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
- Manage and monitor patients with communicable & non-communicable diseases (NCDs) according to established clinical guidelines.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Participate in continuous medical education and quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Experience: At least (2-3) years of overall experience, with a minimum of one (1) year post-internship experience in either a public or private hospital setting.
- Over one (1) year of working experience, ideally in a busy health facility.
- Academic Qualification: Diploma in Clinical Medicine and Surgery.
- Professional Registration: Registered with the Clinical Officers Council and MUST possess a valid practicing license.
- Specialized Knowledge: Strong knowledge and practical experience in the management of non-communicable diseases (NCDs) is key.
- Certifications: Must hold valid certificates in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
