Chinese Language Teacher Job Fadhili International Schools
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and teach engaging Mandarin lessons across relevant year groups.
- Develop learners’ speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills.
- Integrate Chinese culture into classroom learning.
- Prepare learners for Cambridge language assessments where applicable.
- Use creative and technology-enhanced teaching strategies.
- Assess learner progress and provide timely feedback.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enrich the language programme.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Chinese Language, Education, Linguistics, or a related discipline.
- Teaching qualification recognised in Kenya.
- Native or near-native proficiency in Mandarin.
- Strong English communication skills.
- Experience teaching Mandarin to children is preferred.
- Cambridge curriculum experience is an added advantage.
- Excellent classroom management skills.
