Kirima Slopes Dairy Cooperative Society Ltd is a member-driven cooperative committed to excellence in dairy production, processing, and marketing. To strengthen our financial management function, we are seeking to recruit a qualified and results-oriented Accountant.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including ledgers, journals, and financial statements.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable functions.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements including tax filings and audits.
• Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow.
• Assist in internal and external audits.
• Maintain proper documentation of financial transactions.
• Provide financial insights to support management decision-making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• Professional qualification: CPA (K).
• Minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience, preferably in a cooperative or manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
• High level of integrity and attention to detail.
