What You’ll Do
- Recruit and organize voice contributors from Luhya-speaking communities.
- Guide participants through reading and recording sessions using a computer-based tool and related audio equipment.
- Ensure recordings are clear, accurate, and meet project quality standards (no background noise, filler words, or interruptions).
- Save and organize recordings properly for submission.
- Plan and manage daily/weekly recording schedules in the field.
- Supervise and support participants to meet collection targets.
- Report progress and challenges to the project team.
Qualifications
- Native or fluent speaker of the languages, with understanding of written text
- Strong reading and communication skills in Luhya.
- Basic computer literacy (comfortable using google suite, saving files, navigating a computer and learning new software).
- Keen attention to detail and ability to enforce quality standards.
- Experience in field coordination, participant recruitment, or community mobilization is an added advantage.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Flexible and willing to work in different Luhya-speaking areas.
