To support our trading desks for Raw Materials and Green Aluminium Team, we are looking for:
Your Responsibilities:
- Negotiating rates/freights and optimizing logistical flows to improve profitability of a trade
- Organizing the transportation of goods between our customers and suppliers globally
- Close cooperation with the trading department and other stakeholders to ensure smooth contract execution
- Issuing customer documentation according to contractual and legal requirements
- Warehouse and Stocks allocation management
- Identifying and implementing process improvements to continuously increase quality of our service to stakeholders
- Updating internal sales/trading systems on a regular basis
- Further developing analysis and reporting tools around logistics
Skills and Experience you bring along:
- 2-3 years’ experience in logistics and administration, preferably global and in metal/aluminium sector
- Vessel Chartering / Laytime calculations
- Bulk Materials / Bulk Shipping
- Containerised freight knowledge
- Contacts within the Container market / shipping lines
- Working knowledge of shipping documentation/ procedures
- Experience with Letters of Credit (L/Cs) is a plus
- Very good IT skills, especially Excel
- Good command of English (any additional language is a plus)
- Attention to detail
- Service oriented, pro-active
