Role Description
We are seeking a results-driven and highly organized Tours and Travel Consultant/Tour Operator to oversee and manage our end-to-end tour operations. This is a full-time on-site role in Nairobi, Kenya. The Tours and Travel Consultant / Tour Operator will be responsible for organizing and coordinating guided tours, providing travel consulting services, delivering excellent customer service, and communicating effectively with clients. The consultant will assist clients in planning their travel itineraries, advising them on travel destinations, accommodations, and other travel-related services.
Qualifications
- Certificate, Diploma or Degree in Travel, Tourism, Hospitality, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a travel consultancy, tour company, or related field.
- Proficiency in booking/ticketing systems (Amadeus, Galileo, Sabre, etc.) is a strong advantage.
- Excellent knowledge of local and international travel destinations, especially within Africa.
- Strong planning, organizational, and multitasking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Customer-centric with strong problem-solving skills.
- Tech-savvy and comfortable using travel platforms, CRM tools, and digital communications.
