Job Title: Test Manager (One-Year Contract)

Academic:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• A Master’s degree in Technology or a business-related course is an added advantage.

Professional:

• Must have an in-depth knowledge of Agile ways of work using the SAFe Framework and agility in either PMP, PMBOK or Prince 2.
• Experience in software development with major languages Java, Kotlin, C++, C# and practical experience using relation RDBMS e.g., Oracle and MS SQL etc.
• Experience with relevant tools and software used in test management and test automation.

Desired work experience:

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a test manager, with a proven track record of managing software testing/development within large, highly digitized organizations.
• At least 3 years of direct involvement in software testing/development processes, including designing, implementing, and managing mission critical systems.
• Background in the financial services sector is essential, with a thorough understanding of industry-specific requirements and regulations.
• Demonstrates expertise in leading and managing testing teams, overseeing the end-to-end testing process, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and project managers, to achieve project goals and objectives.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve testing issues efficiently and effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate testing strategies, findings, and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels.

Requirements added

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 5+ years of Financial Services experience
• 5+ years of work experience with Agile Methodologies
• 3+ years of work experience with Java
• 5+ years of work experience with Software Testing
• 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance

Location: Nairobi
Terms: Full Time, On site;
Contract duration: 1 Year with possibility of extension
