Nairobi Central Hardware Ltd. is seeking a detail-oriented & organized Stock Controller to join our operations team. This role is critical in maintaining accurate inventory records, supporting warehouse efficiency, coordinating replenishment, & ensuring proper stock controls across all touchpoints.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain up-to-date records of inventory levels, stock movements, & incoming/outgoing shipments.
- Coordinate stock replenishment needs with the Purchase/Procurement Manager.
- Conduct regular stock audits & cycle counts to detect & resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Ensure all stock carders accurately record every inbound & outbound stock movement.
- Use inventory tracking systems (especially Tally ERP) to monitor stock flow & investigate anomalies.
- Organize & optimize warehouse space for efficiency & cleanliness.
- Collaborate with purchasing, sales, & dispatch teams to forecast demand & plan stock availability.
- Identify & implement improvements in inventory management processes.
- Ensure full compliance with company policies, operational procedures, & regulatory standards.
Qualifications and Skills
- Degree in Warehousing & Inventory, Supply Chain Management, Business Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in inventory control, warehousing, or stock management roles.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, especially Tally or SAP.
- High attention to detail & strong accuracy in record-keeping.
- Excellent organizational & time management abilities.
- Good communication skills & ability to collaborate across departments.
- Analytical mindset with effective problem-solving capabilities.
- Knowledge of inventory control best practices & warehouse operations.
- Competence in Microsoft Excel, Word, Google Sheets, & Docs.
