Senior Aquaculture/Fisheries Specialists/ EVALUATORS
Khulisa Management Services is seeking experienced Aquaculture, Fisheries and Livestock Specialists/Evaluators CONSULTANTS for an upcoming impact evaluation in Kenya, Nigeria and Tanzania.
🌍Working experience in one or more of the countries are essential.
Minimum Requirements
Applicants should demonstrate:
- Master’s degree or higher preferred in Aquaculture, Fisheries, Animal Science, Agriculture, Agricultural Economics, Rural Development, Natural Resources, Monitoring & Evaluation or a related discipline.
- At least 10 years’ relevant professional experience.
- Demonstrated experience supporting or evaluating aquaculture, fisheries or livestock programmes.
- Experience working with governments, development partners, research institutions or private sector actors.
- Experience with donor-funded programmes (e.g. Gates Foundation, World Bank, FCDO, USAID, CGIAR, FAO, IFAD, African Development Bank or similar).
- Strong understanding of value chains, smallholder production systems and rural livelihoods.
- Experience in qualitative and/or quantitative research.
- Excellent report writing and analytical skills.
- Fluency in English.
Desirable Experience
Preference will be given to candidates with demonstrated experience in:
- Impact evaluations, Mixed-methods research, Household surveys
- Theory of Change, Market systems development
- Gender and social inclusion
- Publications or applied research in aquaculture or fisheries
