What You’ll Do

• Work cross-functionally with product, design, and engineering teams to develop innovative and user-friendly Android applications.
• Own the full development lifecycle—technical design, coding, testing, experimentation, analysis, and launch.
• Review code and design docs, provide feedback on product specs, and set best practices for developer workflows.
• Optimize mobile applications to handle high traffic and data-intensive operations efficiently.
• Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of learning and innovation.
• Stay updated on the latest Android features, trends, and best practices to enhance app development.

Who You Are

• 8+ years of experience in Android development using Java or Kotlin.
• 2+ years working in enterprise-scale environments (200+ employees).
• Experience with Jetpack Compose.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals—design patterns, scalability, and performance optimization.
• Proven experience building mobile applications at scale (1MM+ users).
• Able to develop high-performance, data-intensive, and fault-tolerant applications within smartphone constraints.
• Passionate about creating well-designed, scalable software that impacts users globally.
• BS in Computer Science or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).

Offer Details

• Full-time contractor (No benefits)
• Remote role, full-time (40 hours/week)
• 6+ hours overlap with PST required
