About the Role
We are seeking dynamic and results-driven Regional Sales Representatives to grow our presence in Kenya’s home appliance market.
This role has two core mandates:
- Drive consumer sales (B2C): Engage directly with households, SACCOs, Chamas, and community groups to grow product adoption.
- Build distribution networks (B2B): Onboard and manage regional distributors, supermarkets, chain stores, and retail outlets to expand market presence.
If you are an outgoing, persuasive, and target-driven individual who thrives in both B2B and B2C sales, loves being on the move, and enjoys building lasting business relationships, this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospect, onboard, and manage regional trade partners and retail outlets.
- Drive direct consumer sales of home appliances through field activations, demos, and community engagement.
- Build and manage a strong customer and partner database for repeat business.
- Consistently achieve monthly sales, customer acquisition, and partner onboarding targets.
- Submit accurate daily and weekly reports on sales performance, leads, and market insights.
- Represent the brand in the community and retail space, ensuring trust, credibility, and customer satisfaction.
What We’re Looking For
- Education: Diploma or Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years in direct sales, retail distribution, or FMCG sales. Experience managing distributors or supermarket accounts is an advantage.
- Personality: Outgoing, extroverted, and persuasive – thrives in meeting new people and closing deals.
- Drive: Self-motivated, ambitious, and passionate about exceeding targets.
- Flexibility: Willing and able to travel extensively within your region with minimal restrictions.
- Skills: Excellent negotiation, closing, and reporting abilities; confident in both B2B and B2C sales environments.
