Our client Oracle Language Centre is a leading institution based in Nairobi, Kenya, specializing in local and foreign language instruction. They seek a results-driven and innovative SALES AND MARKETING OFFICER to spearhead student acquisition and enhance the centre’s market presence through strategic digital marketing, community engagement and impactful promotional initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead Generation & Student Recruitment:

• Develop and execute targeted marketing campaigns, coordinate school outreach programs and educational exhibitions, establish strategic partnerships with educational institutions and corporate entities, and maintain proactive follow-up systems to convert prospects into enrolled students.

Digital Marketing & Social Media Management:

• Oversee and grow social media presence across platforms (Facebook, Instagram, X), develop engaging and culturally relevant content, respond promptly to online enquiries, and implement paid advertising strategies (Facebook Ads, Google Ads) to maximize reach.

Brand Awareness & Promotions:

• Create compelling promotional materials (flyers, posters, brochures), coordinate open house events and informational sessions, and maintain brand consistency across all communication channels.

Collaboration with Centre Team:

• Partner with language instructors, administrative personnel, and senior management to ensure marketing initiatives align with educational offerings, actively participate in planning meetings, and relay market feedback to enhance service delivery.

Reporting & Market Insight:

• Track and analyze campaign effectiveness, maintain comprehensive databases of leads and conversion metrics, conduct competitive and market research, and deliver actionable insights to refine marketing strategies.

Sales Target Achievement:

• Consistently meet or exceed monthly enrolment and revenue targets, which serve as the primary performance indicators for measuring success in this role.

Requirements:

• Diploma or degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration or related discipline.
• Minimum of 2 years demonstrated experience in sales and marketing roles (preference for education sector background)
• Documented success in achieving and surpassing sales targets
• Proficiency with digital marketing tools, analytics platforms and advertising systems
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
• Self-motivated, results-focused and collaborative mindset
