Sales Engineer (Building Chemicals) Job

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Chemical Engineering, Building Technology, or a related field
- Minimum 5-10 years of experience in sales of building chemicals or construction-related products
- Strong understanding of construction materials, building chemical applications, and technical sales processes
- Proven track record in business development, client relationship management, and achieving sales targets
- Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, and problem-solving skills with a customer-focused approach
- Good organizational and time management abilities with the capacity to work under pressure and manage frequent site visits
- Ability to read construction drawings and project specifications is an added advantage
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Valid driving license is preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales & Business Development: Drive sales growth for building chemical products including waterproofing solutions, concrete admixtures, sealants, adhesives, coatings, repair mortars, and flooring systems while identifying new business opportunities and expanding the customer base.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, consultants, developers, architects, distributors, and project owners while ensuring excellent customer support and satisfaction.
- Technical Support & Project Coordination: Conduct product presentations, technical demonstrations, and provide product recommendations based on project requirements while coordinating with internal teams to ensure timely supply and delivery.
- Market Intelligence & Reporting: Monitor competitor activities, conduct market surveys, prepare quotations and tender submissions, and provide regular sales forecasts and market intelligence reports.
