About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Risk Control Specialist to strengthen and manage risk operations within our device financing business.
The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of the mobile phone financing industry and a strong understanding of risk management across the entire financing lifecycle, including customer onboarding, fraud prevention, portfolio monitoring, collections, asset recovery, and technical risk controls.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement risk management policies, procedures, and control frameworks.
- Design and optimize fraud prevention and customer verification processes.
- Monitor portfolio performance and identify emerging risk trends.
- Establish risk assessment and manual review procedures for customer onboarding.
- Support and optimize collections strategies across different delinquency stages.
- Oversee asset recovery processes and improve recovery performance.
- Work closely with operations, collections, and technical teams to strengthen risk controls.
- Support the integration and optimization of risk management tools, data sources, and device management solutions.
- Prepare risk reports and provide recommendations to management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Risk Management, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in device financing, handset financing, digital lending, fintech, or consumer finance risk management.
- Strong understanding of the full phone financing lifecycle, including onboarding, fraud prevention, collections, asset recovery, and device management.
- Experience developing risk policies, SOPs, and operational controls.
- Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively with both business and technical teams.
