Grasp Design is an award-winning architecture, masterplanning and interior design studio based in Nairobi. We work across hospitality, commercial, residential and industrial sectors – projects that are technically demanding and worth doing well.
We are looking for a registered or senior architect who brings both design rigour and computational fluency to the team.
The role:
You will work across RIBA stages 1-6 on live projects, contributing to design development, technical output, and project delivery. You will work within an ArchiCAD + Rhino/Grasshopper workflow and be expected to produce high-quality documentation and design work independently.
Essential
- Degree in Architecture (Part 2 minimum / professionally qualified)
- Proficient in Rhino and Grasshopper
- ArchiCAD experience
- 3+ years post-qualification experience
- Strong ethics and principles
Desirable
- BIM experience (ISO 19650 workflow awareness)
- Sustainability knowledge (LEED / EDGE)
- Hospitality or mixed-use project experience
- International experience across all stages
