Job Purpose

To drive sales growth and market penetration within assigned territories by actively selling company products. The role is responsible for expanding the customer base and representing the company professionally while supporting overall business profitability and brand visibility.

  • Identify and secure new business through prospecting, lead generation and customer visits to achieve sales targets.
  • Manage and grow existing accounts by building strong customer relationships and increasing sales volumes.
  • Develop and implement regional sales and marketing strategies to drive growth and profitability.
  • Lead, train, and supervise sales teams, distributors and merchandisers to ensure KPI achievement.
    Monitor distributor, wholesaler, and retail performance to ensure sales and distribution targets are met.
  • Oversee route planning, customer segmentation, stock management, and product distribution efficiency.
    Drive brand visibility, merchandising standards, and product presence across all trade channels.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to support business growth.
    Resolve customer and trade partner complaints promptly to maintain satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Prepare sales reports, forecasts, budgets, and performance reviews for management.
    Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth operations and customer service.
  • Represent the company professionally while maintaining a strong service-first culture.
  • Diploma or Certificate in Sales, Marketing, Business or a related field preferred.
  • KCSE Certificate is required.
  • A Bachelor’s degree will be an added advantage.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in direct salesroute sales or field marketing.
  • Experience in the dairy category or FMCG industry will be an added advantage.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
