Role Purpose

The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for the strategic development and execution of the company’s sales goals. Based in Nairobi with extensive travel across the country, you will lead a dedicated sales team, manage high-value accounts, and expand our footprint in supermarkets, pharmacies, and wellness stores.

  • Build, maintain, and manage robust relationships with distributors and key accounts (Supermarkets, Pharmacies, and Wellness Stores).
  • Negotiate contracts and trade terms that align with the company’s growth objectives.
  • Ensure consistent stock availability and efficient supply chain flow to all partners.

3. Leadership & Team Management

  • Lead, mentor, and coach a small, dedicated sales team to peak performance.
  • Set clear KPIs, monitor progress, and provide regular feedback and training.
  • Foster a high-performance culture rooted in accountability and results.

4. Performance Tracking & Insights

  • Track, analyze, and report on sales performance metrics consistently.
  • Gather and share market insights, competitor activity, and consumer trends to inform business strategy.
  • Be prepared to present data-driven results and “share the numbers” during performance reviews.

Experience & Education

  • Experience: 5–7+ years of proven experience in sales within the FMCG, Pharmaceutical, or Herbal/Wellness sectors.
  • Leadership: 2–3+ years in a territory, area, or regional leadership role.
  • Track Record: A proven record of significantly growing sales and expanding distribution networks.

Skills & Competencies

  • Relationship Management: Strong experience in managing distributors and large-scale key accounts.
  • Communication: Fluent in both English and Kiswahili with excellent presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Analytical: Ability to interpret sales data and translate it into actionable growth strategies.
  • Travel: Willingness and ability to travel extensively across Kenya.

Personal Attributes

  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a “proactive” rather than “reactive” approach.
  • Deep passion for herbal wellness and natural health products.
  • Highly organized, results-oriented, and capable of working under pressure.
