Quality Assurance Officer Job CUE

Duties and responsibilities will entail: –  

  • Providing information to clients on standardization, recognition and equation of qualification processes; 
  • Receiving and verifying applications for recognition and equation of qualifications; 
  • Preparing documents for facilitation of Meetings, training and workshops for licensing of student recruitment agencies; 
  • Scheduling Meetings for external quality assurance peer reviewers; 
  • Preparing documents for quality assurance seminars and workshops; 
  • Receiving and documenting applications for licensing from student recruitment agencies; 
  • Compiling processed appeals on recruitment agencies;   
  • Making requests and following up on payment of peer reviewers;  
  • Updating data of recognition and equation of qualifications; and 
  • Updating the database of commissioned peer reviewers through periodic audits.  

Person Specifications   
For appointment to this grade, an officer must have: –  

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field from a recognized Institution; 
  • Proficiency in computer applications; and 
  • Fulfilled the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution.

The Successful candidates will be required to provide the following documents before the award of offer in compliance with Chapter 6 of the Constitution of Kenya, 2010:

  • Valid Certificate of Good Conduct from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI).
  • Clearance from the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC).
  • Tax Compliance Certificate from Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA). 
  • Clearance Certificate from the Higher Education Loans Board (HELB). 
  • Clearance Certificate from an approved Credit Reference Bureau (CRB).
