Project Management – Consultant Trainer Based in Nairobi

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, customize, and deliver project management training programs (onsite and virtual).
- Facilitate interactive sessions using real-life case studies, tools, and simulations.
- Align training content with international standards (PMI, PRINCE2, Agile, etc.).
- Evaluate training effectiveness and adjust delivery based on feedback.
- Support the continuous professional development of participants.
- Collaborate with IRES staff in preparing training schedules, materials, and reports.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field. (A Master’s degree is an added advantage)
- Professional certifications such as PMP®, PRINCE2®, CAPM®, PMI-ACP®, or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in project management and at least 2 years in training or capacity building.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver adult learning programs effectively.
- Strong communication and facilitation skills.
- Ability to work with diverse participants from different cultural and professional backgrounds.
Added Advantages:
- Experience in donor-funded projects or public sector consulting.
- Exposure to Agile, Scrum, or other modern PM frameworks.
- Membership in recognized professional bodies (e.g., PMI).
