Requirements

Skills and Competencies

• Minimum of 3 years’ teaching experience, preferably within the International Baccalaureate curriculum.
• Bachelor’s degree in Education
• Demonstrated attributes of the IB Learner Profile: particularly open- mindedness, risk-taking, and reflectiveness.
• Full professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
• ICT proficiency and confidence with Windows, Microsoft Office, and online learning platforms.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to mentor students daily and foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
• Willingness to work in a dynamic, fast-changing, and challenging environment.
• Completion of a background check / certificate of good conduct.

Desirable criteria

• Experience teaching low-achieving students.
• Experience working with refugee populations or vulnerable communities.
• Experience in Child Safeguarding and Protection.
• Valid Teaching Service Commission (TSC) Number.
