Our client is seeking a skilled and creative Pastry Chef/Baker to join their team in Thika. The ideal candidate should be passionate about baking and capable of producing a wide variety of baked goods to high standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, cakes, breads (white, brown, and rolls), cookies, donuts, and croissants.
- Decorate cakes and pastries professionally according to customer or house requirements.
- Ensure consistency, quality, and presentation of all baked products.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the baking area.
- Manage baking supplies and report inventory needs.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in a busy bakery or pastry shop.
- Skilled in baking and decorating cakes, pastries, and breads.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Creativity, attention to detail, and passion for quality baking.
