Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with a senior litigation attorney on significant cases.
- Manage case files using Filevine or similar case management software.
- Monitor emails for documents and deadlines.
- Calendar legal deadlines and set reminders.
- Organize documents according to firm procedures and formats.
- Draft and format legal documents (motions, discovery, etc.).
- Use templates to generate accurate documents.
- Collaborate with internal teams and follow standard operating procedures.
- Participate in initial and ongoing training sessions.
Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in personal injury law or similar legal areas.
- Civil litigation experience preferred.
- Us law firms preferred.
- Familiarity with legal administrative tasks (file organization, calendaring).
- Ability to interpret legal documents and anticipate next steps.
- Comfortable working in structured environments with defined procedures.
- Legal drafting and formatting experience (motions, discovery).
- Familiarity with Gmail and Outlook for communication and scheduling.
- Ability to work with legal templates and examples.
