Qualifications
- Diploma in Food Science and Technology or an equivalent qualification in a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Quality Control (QC) role, preferably within a fresh produce packhouse or food processing unit
- Familiarity with food safety and quality management systems such as BRCGS, GlobalG.A.P., HACCP is an added advantage
- Strong understanding of grading and quality standards across a wide range of fresh produce products
- Strong knowledge of quality control standards and procedures
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining product quality and accurate records
- Strong communication and supervisory skills.
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
