Key Responsibilities
- Conducting desk research to support development of research, monitoring, and evaluation methodologies and reports.
- Quantitative and/or qualitative analysis of interviews, large-scale surveys, focus-group discussions, and other data collection modes.
- Contributing to drafting proposals for new projects.
- Contributing to project and methodology design (including scoping, sampling, instrument development, and analytical frameworks).
- Conducting interviews with relevant stakeholders.
- Drafting presentations and written reports.
- Providing administrative support and input to internal strategic processes.
Main Competencies
- Experience with statistical and visualization software (SPSS, Excel, Tableau, PowerBI) is a strong asset
Bachelor´s degree or higher in economics, political science, international development, international law, or similar field - Excellent written and spoken English; Swahili or Arabic skills are a strong asset.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- High level of personal initiative, accountability, and a strong work ethic
- Intellectual curiosity and inquisitiveness
- Cultural awareness, strong communication skills, and ability to work in a team
- Strong academic record and excellent writing skills
- Demonstrated interest in international issues, M&E, and research
- Results-oriented mindset
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
