A reputable distributor in Nairobi is seeking to strengthen its commercial team and invites applications from qualified,motivated and interested individuals for the Merchandiser position.
Key roles and responsibilities
- Welcoming and serving customers
- Taking orders from customers
- Taking care of the counter’s hygiene,merchandising and assets
- Deep cleaning and maintaining the equipment hygiene
- Refill and merchandize the counter’s display before opening and during the day
- Knowledge of the products and planogram
- FIFO of the products
- Stock taking and Daily Stocks reports
- Updating on competitor activity and pricing changes
- Daily sales reports
Qualifications
- Basic school leaving certification level and above
- At least 2 years of experience in merchandising
- Proficiency of sales principles and customer service practice
- Confident communicator in English and Kiswahili
- Team player,organized and a good time manager
- Merchandising and stock management
