Manager- QMS & Risk Management Coordination Job GDC
Key Responsibilities
Duties and responsibilities will entail:
- Implementation of quality and risk management systems and initiatives, acquisition and maintaining quality management system certification, enforcement and compliance with quality standards
- Preparing Risk Management and Quality Assurance plan for the company.
- Developing and tracking Risk Register and Quality Assurance metrics for performance improvement throughout the organization.
- Identifying quality improvement opportunities and lead quality improvement activities.
- Identifying best practices and lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce work process risks and improve efficiency.
- Developing, administering, and supervising company-wide risk management policies and procedures
Qualifications
For appointments to this grade, an officer must have: –
- A minimum period of twelve (12) years’ relevant work experience four (4) of which must have been in a managerial role.
- Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following disciplines: – Commerce, Economics, Business, Administration, ICT, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Sciences or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution
- Master’s degree or Post Graduate Diploma in any field related to quality assurance and safety or its equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
- Management course lasting not less four (4) weeks (cumulative).
- Membership IEK or any other relevant professional body/institution.
- Proficiency in computer applications; and
- Fulfilled the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya
