Logistics Supervisor Job
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Logistics Supervisor to oversee and coordinate our logistics operations, including transportation, warehouse activities, inventory management, and team supervision. This role is crucial in ensuring timely deliveries, accurate inventory, and efficient warehouse operations to support our growing supply chain needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise inbound and outbound transportation, including scheduling and dispatch.
- Oversee warehouse operations: receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch.
- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records and stock movement.
- Lead and supervise logistics personnel, ensuring high performance and adherence to safety standards.
- Ensure proper documentation and compliance with safety and company procedures.
- Coordinate with transport vendors and resolve logistics-related issues.
- Drive continuous improvement in logistics and warehouse processes.
- Report on key KPIs such as delivery accuracy and order fulfillment.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience in logistics and warehouse operations, preferably in manufacturing.
- Strong leadership, team management, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in SAGE and ERP systems is an added advantage.
- Excellent problem-solving and organizational abilities.
