Key Responsibilities
- Originate and grow a quality loan portfolio in line with company credit policies
- Conduct detailed credit appraisal, financial analysis, and risk assessment
- Prepare and submit credit proposals for approval
- Ensure proper loan documentation, disbursement, and compliance with internal controls
- Monitor and manage the loan portfolio, ensuring strong repayment performance
- Execute collections and recovery strategies to maintain low default levels
- Build and maintain a credible and performing client base
- Contribute to overall branch performance, growth, and profitability
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
- Minimum 2–4 years’ experience in lending within a non-deposit taking microfinance institution
- Proven track record in credit appraisal, loan processing, and collections
- Strong understanding of credit risk management principles
- Demonstrated ability to maintain a high-quality loan portfolio
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail
