We are looking for a qualified and resourceful School Librarian to manage and develop our school library and information services. The successful candidate will support students and staff in accessing and utilizing a wide range of learning resources, promote a love for reading, maintain the library collection, and assist in the integration of digital literacy. The ideal candidate should be organized, tech-savvy, and passionate about nurturing an informed, reading culture within the school.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily library operations and circulation of books and materials.
• Support students and teachers in accessing library resources.
• Promote reading programs and literacy initiatives across all school levels.
• Organize, catalogue, and maintain physical and digital collections.
• Maintain an inviting, organized, and quiet learning environment.
• Track borrowing records and ensure timely returns.
• Integrate digital resources and support e-library systems.
• Support research activities and guide students on reference and citation skills.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• A Diploma or Degree in Library and Information Science or related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in a school library or academic environment.
• Proficiency in library management systems and digital tools.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• A passion for reading and learner development.
• Knowledge of CBC and school-based literacy programs is an added advantage.
