Role Overview
Switch Media School is seeking an innovative and forward-thinking Lecturer in Innovation & Digital Disruptions in Media with a strong focus on AI tools. The ideal candidate will train learners to understand, adopt, and creatively apply emerging technologies in film, media, journalism, marketing, and content creation.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Teach the role of AI in media production, distribution, and monetization.
- Introduce students to AI-powered tools
- Demonstrate practical applications of AI in scriptwriting, editing, sound design, content generation, SEO, and branding.
- Explore the ethical and legal implications of AI in media and communication.
- Supervise student projects leveraging AI-driven workflows for real-world media products.
- Guide learners on entrepreneurial opportunities within digital disruptions and emerging technologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Digital Media, Communication, Computer Science, or related field.
- Strong practical knowledge of AI tools and emerging technologies in creative industries.
- Industry experience in digital media, film, or tech-based communication.
- Previous teaching or training experience is an advantage.
- Demonstrated ability to combine creativity with technology in content production.
- Knowledge of data analytics, automation, and media innovation trends.
- Experience integrating entrepreneurship and innovation case studies into teaching.
