Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Sous Chef and Executive Chef in the daily operations of the kitchen.
• Supervise and support kitchen staff to ensure food is prepared and presented according to hotel standards.
• Maintain high levels of hygiene, cleanliness, and organization in all kitchen areas.
• Oversee designated kitchen sections (e.g., hot kitchen, cold kitchen, or pastry).
• Contribute to menu development, daily specials, and seasonal offerings.
• Ensure proper stock rotation, minimize food waste, and support cost control measures.
• Train and mentor junior kitchen staff and trainees.
• Monitor food quality, portion control, and presentation consistency.
• Enforce kitchen safety standards and compliance with health regulations.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Certificate in Culinary Arts or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a hotel or upscale restaurant kitchen.
• Proven experience in a supervisory role or as a senior chef de partie.
• Strong knowledge of food hygiene, safety standards, and HACCP.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Creative, hands-on, and detail-oriented with excellent leadership skills.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
