Job Description
Overview
Maintaining accounting records, providing accurate and timely accounting information and ensuring the same is maintained in accordance with the laid down policies and procedures of the organization and in accordance with the IFRS.
Responsibilities
- Accurate posting of loan transactions in accounting system
- Posting other transactions in the accounting system
- Statutory returns and preparation of payment
- Bank reconciliation
- Loanee accounts maintenance and reconciliation
- Supplier accounts maintenance and reconciliation
- Prepare management accounts
- Petty cash management and handling
- Supplier payment processing
- Maintain the asset register
- Assist the auditors during the audit and preparation of schedules for audit.
Qualifications
- A degree in Finance or Accounting,
- Minimum CPA Part II,
- Experience, a microfinance lending institution is a key requirement
- Ability to work closely with line manager with minimal supervision
- A professional, keen on details and results oriented
- Self-driven with a positive attitude
- Ready to report at a short notice

- Salary Budget Ksh 40,000
