  • We are seeking a passionate, detail-oriented, hands-on Human Resource Service Specialist to be based in Kenya and support East Africa. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the accurate, compliant, and timely delivery of payroll across multiple countries, leveraging partnerships with local payroll providers. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to navigate complex regulatory frameworks, while driving efficiency and standardization across all payroll processes.
  • They will collaborate with internal teams, such as HR, Finance, and Legal, as well as external stakeholders, to ensure a seamless payroll experience for our employees globally. The position offers an exciting opportunity to shape the payroll function in a fast-paced, international environment.

Your Role – Magic happens when you bring great people together!

Payroll Management:

  • Ensure timely payroll in compliance with local regulations.
  • Manage relationships with external payroll providers.
  • Maintain payroll records and address payroll queries.
  • Implement improvements in payroll systems and workflows.
  • Support payroll audits and system integrations/upgrades.

HR Operations:

  • Oversee HR administrative tasks (onboarding, health insurance, compliance).
  • Serve as the point of contact for HR-related queries.
  • Manage employee records and ensure data protection compliance.
  • Support HR policy design and implementation.
  • Handle sensitive HR cases (employee relations, contract management, terminations).
  • Collaborate with global HR and finance teams to align practices.
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 4+ years of experience in global payroll management, with a strong focus on East Africa.
  • Deep understanding of payroll and HR policies, tax regulations, and employment laws in Africa.
  • Prior experience working with third-party payroll providers across multiple countries.
  • Proven ability to navigate complex payroll and HR challenges, offering innovative solutions while maintaining compliance.
  • Strong analytical skills and flux analysis.
  • Experience with major payroll software’s.
