We’re looking for an experienced Senior HR Officer to support and manage the day-to-day operations of our Human Resources Department. This role involves implementing HR policies, managing employee relations, overseeing performance management, learning & development, and ensuring compliance with labour laws.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and talent management processes
- Implement HR policies, procedures, and performance management systems
- Manage employee relations, disciplinary cases, and grievance handling
- Support training and development programs
- Maintain accurate HRIS data and leave management records
- Ensure compliance with Kenyan labour laws and company policies
- Prepare and analyse HR reports for decision-making
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Social Sciences, or a related field
- CHRP certification and IHRM membership (mandatory)
- Minimum 6 years’ HR experience in a labour-intensive, unionized environment
- At least 3 years’ hands-on experience with HRMIS systems
- Strong knowledge of performance management, recruitment, and labor laws
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
